Catholic Schools Week 2012: January 29

‘Catholic
Schools: Christ’s living body active in our world’
The theme for
this year’s Catholic Schools Week is taken from
the anthem of the 50th International Eucharistic Congress,
Though We Are Many, and reflects the overall theme of
the International Eucharistic Congress – ‘The
Eucharist: Communion with Christ and with one another.’
The purpose of the Week is to highlight and celebrate
the contribution that Catholic Schools make to our local
parish communities and to society in general. Cardinal
Cormac Murphy-O’Connor will be the Chief Celebrant
at the annual Mass to celebrate Catholic Schools Week
in St Eugene’s Cathedral on Tuesday 7 February
at 10.00am. Representatives from our four schools will
attend.
